Funny the way it is....

Going to see Kathy Griffin tonight at Merriweather, YAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tori Amos and Dave Matthews Band both released new cds in the past month. And they are both FAN FREAKING TASTIC. No kidding. So, we have 11th row tix to see Tori at DAR Constitution Hall on Aug 1st and 20th row front and center to see DMB at Hershey next month!!!! *JOY*

We had a little "staycation" for our wedding anniversary this week. I cannot deny that I am saddened that yet again we missed out on climbing Mt. Dorr on our anniversary. On top of that we've no plans for our next vacation. I LIVE for vacation. We are a couple of CFBC DINKS who live for after work times and vacation especially. The economy is to blame, on a grand scale. A certain person on a smaller scale, and then the fact that we've spent 6 grand on our pets in the past year and some odd months doesn't make things any easier. Anyway, enough of my bitching. Our staycation was enjoyable indeed. Though we did learn that staycations are WAY more fattening than vacations haha! Neither of us have ever 'vacationed at home' (gosh it seems so foreign, so NOT RIGHT, LOL) so this was a lesson. We did get some serious quality time with the furkids, and that was most excellent. :)

The whole widening of the highway behind our house project is getting under our skin. We missed last week's public meeting on it thanks to me being way sick, and so I'm patiently waiting for a reply from the project manager. I hope he replies. It makes me sick to think that we're stuck where we are for an indefinite amount of time because the government moves SO DAMN SLOW. Le sigh.

Well how about that. I dont post here for nearly a month and all I'm doing it seems is venting. Ah well. Such is life.

I need to tattoo. June has been VERY slow for tattooing for me. I have 2 ideas for myself that I could do on myself- if only I was less indecisive! :)
